I've been looking at Charles Sheeler, Charles Demuth and Ralston Crawford. They were precisionists and did a lot of industrial imagery. Charles Demuth fascinates me because he also produced a lot of figure work- some with latent or blatant homoeroticism. He also worked in watercolor for still lives and floral paintings.
